Principal
Who is granting permission?
The person remains the principal, including when an authorized AI agent helps express the request.
The target permission object
The Intent Grant is CoverIntent’s working concept for a scoped, time-aware permission record. It is designed to help a person—or an AI agent acting with that person’s authority—express insurance intent without granting indefinite access to their information.
Target-model principle
One request. Chosen insurers. No lead spam.
That is the intended future consent model. The current CX1 release accepts validation interest only and does not select or contact insurers.
Working anatomy
These are design requirements under evaluation. CoverIntent does not issue operational Intent Grants in this public validation.
Principal
The person remains the principal, including when an authorized AI agent helps express the request.
Scope
Coverage line, jurisdiction, purpose, and permitted data are explicit instead of bundled into open-ended reuse.
Recipients
The target model names or constrains eligible licensed recipients before additional details move.
Time
A grant can carry an expiry and, where supported, a revocation state rather than lasting indefinitely.
Receipt
Acceptance, decline, expiry, and downstream outcomes are designed to leave a traceable record.

The receipt is part of the product
The working model treats the receipt as evidence: who authorized what, for which purpose, for how long, and what the receiving system reported. That is different from assuming a form submit authorizes every downstream use.
Legal sufficiency, licensing, data governance, identity, revocation, and carrier integration still require jurisdiction- and partner-specific review before a transaction product can go live.
Two receipts, different meanings
Confirms that TheChattyAI recorded an email-only request to hear about CoverIntent research or early access.
Would govern a defined disclosure or recipient handoff. It is not issued, accepted, or transacted in this validation.
A person or licensed-agent prospect can submit one consent-bound, email-only validation-interest request and receive a non-secret confirmation code. The code confirms intake only and is never an access token. No quote, recommendation, policy transaction, insurer match, or lead transfer is live.
